It was lunch break. I just finished copying notes from the board.
“He is wondering if you would give him a chance.”
I looked behind me. He wasn’t there with them. I looked around and found him on the other side of the room, talking with another girl.
“He said, he will wait for your answer this afternoon.”
I looked at his messenger and gave him a blank look. The guy stood and left.
What chance was he asking for?
Afternoon came and went. They never showed up in class.
Chance. Shall it be given anytime? I never found out.
