#Sandaan Blg. 4
We were waiting in the hallway for the next class. It was already the third day, but a timid tension still hung around us.
I stood alone in one corner, observing with a pen and a notebook in hand.
Someone started to strum a guitar. Another hummed. The tension loosened and I smiled.
The pleasant melody serenaded my thoughts. I began to scribble words that clouded my mind for days. I was finally there, an hour and a half away from my family and friends. The whole new life shook hands with me. Welcome, it said.
A college student, finally.
